What is JobCraftsMan?
JobCraftsMan is an AI job-search coach with three tools in one place: realistic interview practice with per-question feedback, a tailored cover-letter writer, and a guided CV / résumé builder with ATS-friendly templates and a match score against a job description.
Who is it for?
Anyone actively job hunting — early-to-mid-career professionals, career changers, students and new grads, and people returning to work. English at launch; more languages on the roadmap.
Do I need an account?
Yes — the tools work against your saved profile and credits, so you sign up first. You start with 3 free credits, no card required.
Your reusable profile (experience, skills, target role) feeds all three tools so you are not re-entering the same details each time.
Credits & pricing
How do credits work?
1 credit = 1 action. One credit covers a single generation:
- Run an interview — generates the full question set and model answers up front.
- Write a cover letter — a tailored draft you can then refine.
- Improve a CV — AI suggestions on a bullet, section, or the whole CV.
Answering interview questions and refining a letter or CV after the first generation do not cost extra credits.
What do the plans include?
- Free · $0 — 3 starter credits, one-time. Preset interviews only (no custom role or job description).
- Eager · $14.99/mo or $119/yr — 25 credits a month (carried over), role & job-description interviews, every template, and the ATS match score.
Do free credits refill every month?
No — the 3 free credits are a one-time starter grant so you can try each tool once. Monthly credits come with the Eager plan (25 a month).
Eager credits carry over while your subscription is active.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep Eager access until the end of your current billing cycle, then your account drops to Free automatically. We do not prorate or refund the unused portion.
Your saved CVs, cover letters, and interview history stay. Carried-over credits are forfeited on cancellation.
Do I have to give you a card to sign up?
No. Free is free — no card, no trial countdown. We only ask for payment when you choose to upgrade to Eager.
The tools
How does interview practice work?
Pick a preset interview and a difficulty (easy / medium / hard). We generate the full question list and a model answer for each, then you answer one question at a time and get feedback on every answer:
- What worked (your strengths on that answer).
- What to sharpen (specific, actionable).
- How it compares to a strong answer, plus a score.
Eager members can run interviews tailored to a specific role or a pasted job description.
How accurate is the AI feedback?
Feedback, cover letters, and CV suggestions are generated by Claude (Anthropic). It is genuinely useful, but it is a coach, not an oracle — treat suggestions as a strong starting point, not gospel.
If something looks off, flag it via the Contact page — we track every report.
What is the ATS / match score?
Paste a job description and we score your CV against it — how well it matches the role, a breakdown of what is covered, and concrete fixes. It helps your CV get past applicant-tracking systems and read well to a human.
Results are cached for the same CV + job description, so re-viewing the score does not spend another credit.
Can I export my CV and cover letters?
Yes. CVs and cover letters export to PDF with ATS-friendly templates. You can keep multiple versions and come back to them anytime.

Privacy & data
Is my content used to train AI models?
No. Your CVs, cover letters, and interview answers are processed by Anthropic under their Commercial Terms, which prohibit using API inputs or outputs to train models.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train models — ours or anyone else's.
How do I export my data?
Settings → Export gives you a single JSON file with your account, profile, CVs, cover letters, and interview history. Standard GDPR portability dump.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete account. Here is what happens:
- You are immediately signed out and your sessions on other devices are revoked.
- Your account is soft-deleted — you can no longer sign in.
- Your personal data is permanently purged within 30 days.
Who else can see my CV or cover letters?
No other user. Your content is private to your account. It is sent to Anthropic only to generate the result you asked for, and to Stripe for payments (card details only — never to us).
Account-essential emails (verification, password reset, billing receipts) always send; product emails are opt-in.
